Established in 1996, TRYB has around 60 members. All fence foil with some opting to fence an additional weapon, either sabre or epee.

TRYB members benefit from high quality coaching from our qualified and experienced staff on up to date kit and equipment

TRYB is a non-profit making organisation. Our committee members are unpaid and all of our income is spent on the club.

TRYB meets on Monday evenings at the Royal Masonic School.

Three Rivers Young Blades Fencing Club is for young people aged from 7 to 18 years old. We are based in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire close to North West London.

What Is Fencing?

Fencing is a fast and athletic sport, very different from the sword play in the films you see on television or at the cinema.

Rather than swinging from chandeliers or off balconies, modern fencing takes place on a 14m x 2m strip. The action is so fast that it is judged electronically rather than by eye.

Fencing keeps your body fit and your mind sharp.
